Infants

We understand that leaving your child in child care for the first time can be an emotional and stressful experience. Our goal is to make this transition as smooth and comforting as possible for both you and your child. The early years are crucial—they’re a time of wonder and growth, and the experiences children have during this period lay the foundation for their future success.

In our Infant Room, your child will have regular access to a variety of immersive activities, including art, sensory exploration, language development, music, movement, dramatic play, cognitive challenges, and outdoor adventures. Each experience is designed to nurture curiosity and foster essential skills that will support your child's development in the years to come

Toddler

At Springwater Child Care Centre, toddlers are provided with a wide range of enriching experiences and learning opportunities. They explore the fascinating process of tadpoles and caterpillars transforming, while also discovering the world around them. Through our 'centre play' approach, children have the freedom to choose activities that spark their curiosity. They are encouraged to make decisions, bring their ideas to life, and reflect on their experiences. Our diverse program includes art, sensory play, discovery activities, reading, language development, manipulative games, dramatic play, technology, and outdoor exploration.

Preschool

Educators at Springwater Child Care Centre thoughtfully design and set up engaging experiences for preschoolers, providing opportunities for interactions with people, materials, events, and ideas. Children learn best through hands-on, open-ended activities that encourage exploration and creativity. Our educators closely follow the children's interests, allowing them to guide their own learning journey whenever possible.

As children engage in play, educators observe their actions, paying close attention to recurring themes, moments of understanding or confusion, as well as developmental milestones and emerging questions. These observations help inform the next steps in each child’s learning process.

Before and After School/March Break/Summer Camp/PA days

At SWCCC, we provide an enriching school-age program designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection. Guided by the principles of How Does Learning Happen?, our daily programming is built around the unique interests of the children in our care, fostering a supportive and stimulating environment for growth.
